Welcome
to HVA
HVA is an indoor volleyball club for
boys ages 8 through 18 years of age. Our trained and certified
coaching staff has been producing some of the top boys
volleyball talent for over 17 years right here in Texas. We have
training facilities in several cities and have produced some of
the top mens players from Texas.
At HVA, we have tailored 2 different types of programs targeting
boys of all levels of interest and talent: Trainer and
Competitive.
The "Trainer
Program" enables younger boys, typically 8-13, to simply
train once a week in a practice setting learning the game one
skill at a time. This program emphasizes fun and skill
equally. Our goal with the Trainer is to fan the flame of
interest in our great sport.
The "Competitive
Program" targets the committed athlete who wishes to
participate is all tournaments and 2 practices per week.
Typically, our Competitive
Program players are the ones that go on to
play at the college levels and higher.

for each of the two programs is different. Please see the "Fees"
link above for that information.
We will field
several AGE LEVEL teams that are based on the age of the player.
Below are the USA Volleyball age bracket definitions.

18 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1989
or Players who were born on or after September 1, 1987 and a
high school student during some part of the current academic
year
17 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1990
16 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1991
15 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1992
14 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1993
13 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1994
12 and
Under Division: Players who were born on or after
September 1, 1995
